You will need: 11 x 14 canvas, acrylic paint - white, red, blue, 1" flat brush, 1/4" flat brush and a small round tip brush for detail.
Pic 1: Find a picture of a pair of skates, girls or boys. Trace or draw on canvas.
Pic 2: Paint the background white with 1" brush. Paint over pencil lines as they should show through the paint.
Pic 3: Paint the skates using white and red , make a bright pink color . Start painting with the pink and add white to your brush as you go to make different shades of pink. Use 1" flat brush for larger areas and other 2 small brushes for smaller areas.
Pic 4: Paint strings with small round brush.
Pic 5: Progress so far.
Pic 6: Water down some of the pink paint with your small round brush and gently put watery spots randomly over canvas.
Pic 7: Water down some blue paint and put larger water blotted areas randomly over the canvas, on top of skates as well.
